The first online exhibition of textiles and plastics starts on July 5

In the Corona pandemic scenario, the International Exhibition of Textiles and Plastics and Machinery (IPF) will be launched for the first time in the country from July 5. 483 organizations from 19 countries including Bangladesh, China, India, Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Japan and Malaysia will take part in the four-day exhibition. There will be 73 organizations from Bangladesh. Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi announced the inauguration of the exhibition at Hotel Intercontinental in the capital on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, The minister as chief guest mentioned that information technology, medicines, leather and plastic products are quite potentials for export and to overcome the dependence on ready-made garments only. Md. Jasim Uddin, President, FBCCI- the country's top business organization presided over the meeting. BPGMEA President Samim Ahmed delivered a welcome address at the program. BPGMEA Vice President Gias Uddin Ahmed was present among others.
